About The Malling Jug
Our Philosophy
At The Jug, we believe in creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and at home whilst being fully committed to operating within the ethos of the micropub movement.
We offer a no-frills experience where you can enjoy fine real ales, a selection of bar snacks and great conversation in a warm and relaxing environment; without the distractions of loud music, karaoke, gambling machines, or pool tables. We strive to provide exceptional service and make every visit a memorable one.
Real Ales
We serve Real ales (straight from gravity fed barrels), a wide selection of bottled Craft beers, Cider, Wine, Prosecco and Gin. In addition we offer a delicious selection of high-quality pub snacks including Crisps, Nuts, Indian Samosas and made to order Cheese toasties.
The vast majority of our products are sourced locally.

This Weeks Ales
Our Real Ales are always changing...
Offering a wide range of Real Ales straight from the cask, such as Pales, IPAs, APAs, Bitters, Stouts and Porters, we are sure we will have something for you to enjoy! The popular Kent Session pale ale, is always available.
There are usually at least 6 ales available every day, with this increasing to 8+ going into the weekend.
Our menu boards are updated regularly with freshly tapped cask ales for you to enjoy at the Jug or to take-away at discounted prices. Take out carriers are available in 4, 8, 15 and 36 pint sizes.

Bottled Craft Beer
Alongside our cask ales, we offer a large selection of 50+ bottled craft beers and lagers from all around the world.
If you don't fancy a beer from our extensive list, don't worry, we also have a good selection of non alcoholic beers & lagers, wines, gins, soft drinks and juices.
Opening Times
Here at The Jug we pride ourselves on providing our customers with friendly and professional table service. Our garden space is stunning and cozy, fully equipped with blankets, heaters and covered seating. We are a pet friendly pub open 7 days a week.
Sunday to Tuesday: 12pm-9pm
Wednesday to Saturday: 12pm-10pm
